Directions to the Kitsap Conference Center from:


I-5 Northbound or Southbound


Take exit 132 from I-5 to SR 16 (Gig Harbor, Bremerton) and cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. SR 16 will merge with SR 3 northbound two miles south of Bremerton. Follow Directions from northbound SR 3 below.

Edmonds/Kingston Ferry

From Kingston follow SR 104 and Bond Road toward Poulsbo/Bremerton, turn right on SR 305 to the intersection of SR 305 with SR 3 and take SR 3 southbound toward Bremerton. Follow Directions from southbound SR 3 below.

From Seattle/Bainbridge Island Ferry

Follow SR 305 toward Poulsbo/Bremerton to the intersection of SR 305 with SR 3 and take SR 3 southbound toward Bremerton. Follow Directions from southbound SR3 below

From the Olympic Peninsula

From US 101 take SR 104 east toward Seattle Ferries/Bremerton. After crossing the Hood Canal Bridge turn right on SR 3 south toward Bremerton. Follow Directions from southbound SR3 below.

From Aberdeen, Hoquiam and Southwest Washington

Take SR 12 east to McCleary, SR108 and US 101 to Shelton and SR 3 to Bremerton. Follow Directions from northbound SR 3 below.

Directions from southbound SR 3

1. Traveling South on SR 3 take the Kitsap Way exit
2. Turn left on Kitsap Way and go under the highway
3. Continue on straight on Kitsap Way and follow it as it curves to the left and right and becomes 6th Street at the bottom of a long hill and crosses Callow Avenue.
4. Continue straight on 6th Street to Pacific Avenue and turn right.
5. Continue on Pacific Avenue to 2nd Street and turn left.
6. Go one block on 2nd Street to Washington Avenue.
7. Cross over Washington and continue down the hill to the parking garage under the Hampton Inn and Conference center on your right.
8. Turn right in the second (Green) or third (Red) levels of the parking garage (the first entrance (Blue) is for Hampton Inn guests only).
9. Take the elevator and look for directions to the Kitsap Conference Center.

Directions from northbound SR 3

1. Traveling North on SR 3 take the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard/Downtown Bremerton exit.
2. Continue on exit road to Burwell Street and turn right.
3. Continue on Burwell Street to detour sign turn left on Warren Avenue.
4. Follow detour to 6th Street and turn right.
5. Continue on 6th Street to Pacific Avenue and turn right.
6. Continue on Pacific Avenue to 2nd Street and turn left.
7. Go one block on 2nd Street to Washington Avenue.
8. Cross over Washington and enter the drive to the parking garage.
9. Turn right in the second (Green) or third (Red) levels of the parking garage (the first entrance (Blue) is for Hampton Inn guests only).
10. Take the elevator and look for directions to the Kitsap Conference Center.

Directions by Ferry (from Seattle)

Note: Since the Hampton Inn and Conference Center are right at the Ferry Terminal, you may not need your vehicle.
1. Take the Bremerton Ferry (West) from Pier 52 in downtown Seattle (Alaskan Way). Ferry ride is approximately 60 minutes.
2. Debark ferry at Bremerton terminal. Kitsap Conference Center is immediately to the right of the waterfront transit terminal, in the heart of the Bremerton Harborside development.
3. If driving, turn right at 2nd Street one block from the ferry terminal.
4. Turn right in the second (Green) or third (Red) levels of the parking garage (the first entrance (Blue) is for Hampton Inn guests only).
5. Take the elevator and look for directions to the Kitsap Conference Center.

From Southbound SR 3, take Kitsap Way Exit. Turn Left on Kitsap Way and go under the highway. Continue straight on Kitsap Way and follow it as it curves to the right and left. Turn RIGHT onto North Callow Avenue/WA 304. Follow Callow /WA 304 South. Turn slight right onto Rodgers St. After 0.1 miles, turn LEFT onto South Summit Avenue. End at 400 S. Summit Avenue.

From Northbound SR 3, again take the Kitsap Way Exit (Bremerton), and follow the above directions, except probably turning right at end of exit ramp. Just be sure to head into town, not out into the country!

From Kitsap Conference Center to Summit Avenue Church:
Start Northeast on Washington Ave. Turn LEFT onto 6th 1.4 miles. Turn Left onto N. Callow Ave./WA 304. Continue to follow WA-304 S. 0.4 miles. Turn slight right onto Rodgers St. 0.1 mile. Turn left onto S. Summit Avenue. 0.1 miles. End at 400 South Summit Avenue. Driving time: 6 minutes. Distance: 2 miles.

From Southbound SR 3, follow signs for Hwy. 303 East and East Bremerton. This route is also labeled Waaga Way. Follow East 303 for several miles into East Bremerton (mall strip) Before crossing the Warren Avenue Bridge, at end of mall strip, turn right onto Sheridan Road Drive 0.2 miles to 924 Sheridan Road and the church.

From Conference Center:

Start out going NORTHEAST on WASHINGTON AVE. Turn left onto 6th Street. Turn right onto Warren Avenue/WA-303. Continue to follow WA-303. 1.6 miles crossing the bridge. Turn left onto Sheridan Road. 0.2 miles. End at 924 Sheridan, Church of the Nazarene. (Note that Warren changes name to Wheaton Way when the bridge is crossed.)

From Northbound SR 3: either follow directions to Kitsap Conference Center (which you will have separately), and then directions above from Conference Center to 924 Sheridan Road, or take SR-3 north to exit for East Bremerton, and follow as above.


It may be helpful to use Map Quest or Google Driving Directions, with either start point of the church and end point of 100 Washington Avenue, Bremerton WA 98337 (The Conference Center), or vice versa, as this will show a decent map. I was not able to print out the full extent of the route, but it helps to SEE it on the computer screen.
